Silver Engineering, Inc. can
provide this
Fiber Optic product to control and/or provide status for operating your electrical
interfaces. Fiber Optic interfaces provide for ground isolation between components
reducing the potential for noise problems. Contact SEI for application engineering
support and for further system specifications.
The Fiber Optic Power Control System incorporates a 110VAC
solid-state relay and DPDT relay to control system components. Normally open
and normally closed status signals are accommodated. The system consists of
a master computer with a National Instruments PCI-DIO-96 card which can interface
to two FODB (Fiber Optic Distribution Box). From each FODB, transmit and receive
data is optically sent to up to 24 FOOSB's (Fiber Optic Operated Switch Box)
which provide the hardware interface between the FODB and the mechanisms.
Max. total of 48 FOOSB's using two FODB's.
Each FOOSB maintains a 115VAC input line cord, a switched 115VAC output receptacle,
and 12 position connector terminal block.
The signals for the terminal block contain the control relay contacts, status
signal inputs,
and auxiliary control voltage signal
