The Over Voltage Protection provides bipolar protection for under-voltage, over-voltage, reverse input voltage, current direction, current magnitude, and (over)-voltage crowbar for multiple different voltage sources/sinks.

The OVPU has the ability to link to command and control systems and download waveforms of fault conditions.

The OVPU provides protection for the bus and monitors all 10 solar array channels, as well as the umbilical and battery interface.
