CEU-710
Silver Engineering’s CEU-710 is a Command Encoder Unit that interfaces to a Command Computer via a TCP Socket interface, and provides a choice of multiple modulation formats as output to an RF modulator. The CEU-710 receives uplink commands and control from either the TCP Socket or a web browser interface via 10BaseT/100BaseT Ethernet. If desired, the TCP Socket may be used in conjunction with Harris Corp’s “Open Systems/Common Environment for Test” (OS/COMET). Silver Engineering's CEU-710 is fully configurable and supports the following modulation formats: “Spacecraft Tracking and Data Network” (STDN), “Space-Ground Link Sub-System” (SGLS), AM/FSK, and “High Speed Up Link” (HSUL). The unit interfaces with encryptors for SGLS and a common encryptor for both AM/FSK and HSUL. The CEU-710 also interfaces to the Upper Stage Return Link (USRL) for the Upper Stage program. The USRL mode of the CEU-710 functions as a frame sync, and converts the serial downlink data into formatted telemetry buffers with appended time-tag and status. |
